Each of the six input channels can be selected via front panel pushbuttons for use with the MIC input, in this way the T-6218 can be used to page individual channel. Priority muting is achieved via EMC 1, 2 for overriding background music for emergency alarming. Individual gain controls and master control are provided for each channel and MIC inputs. The T-6240 has all the above features with the addition of two more inputs for a total of eight line level inputs and one MIC input.
