No electronics experience necessary to install. The unit installs internally inside any coolsat receivers. A very minimal technical experience is required (a matter 1 plug and a few screws). Instruction the card reader installation: Tools required - a phillips screw driver Installation is easy. Simply pop the top off your coolsat receiver, screw in the reader with the supplied screws, plug in the power cord into its respective socket on the motherboard, then punch out the perforated plastic on the front panel where the card goes so you can insert your card.
