Description:Specialised 4 ply laminated material used for packaging food. Pouches are filled and cooked at 125C or above for 30mins - 60mins, simultaneously cooking and sterilizing the packaging and thus extending the shelf life of the products. It is quite often used now in replacement to tin cans. Clear high barrier material (AlOx) can also be used and is suitable for microwave use.
