Description:High efficiency red phosphorus based flame retardant masterbatch can be used in the
following polymers:
1) Engineering plastics: PA6, PA66, PBT, PET, PC, MC nylon
2) General plastics: PE, PP, EVA, EAA, EPR
3) Thermosetting resin: polyurethane, epoxy, unsaturated resin
RPM series red phosphorus based flame retardant masterbatch features high efficiency,
easy adding, safety, no powder pollution, and stable thermosetting. Compared
with halogen flame retardant agent, thermoplastic plastic adding RPM red phosphorus
based flame retardant masterbatch has the following characteristics:
1) Low density
2) Small reduction in physical property
3) Excellent resistance creepage tracking index (CTI index)
4) Stable processing property
5) No frost, no movement, free of corrosion to molds
6) Slight smoke
Features:
1) High Properties
a) Good effectiveness for flame retardants (FR): UL94V-0, low product density
b) Little inferior effect on physical properties of base polymer
c) High tracking-index value
2) Good stability:
a) Inorganic FR, non volatile up to 300°C. Thermal stable at the
processing temperature used for engineering plastics is higher than 220°C
for PA6, higher than 260°C for PA66
b) Non-migration, no blooming, low solubility in water
c) Less smoke rate
d) Non corrosive, stabilized RPM series provide moisture resistance, no phosphoric
acid produced
e) Stable production line can provide continuous and uniform products
3) Good safety
a) No HCl, HBr gas produced at fire. No Cd, Hg, Cr+6, less Pb

c) Safety and no danger when use and transport, fire temperature more than
320°C
