• Shaligram is Round ,Spherical ,Oval and is usually  found IN any Shape or Size .
• Shaligram is  mostly black colour, yellow and sometime also white naturally.
• Shaligram is Known as Shaligram shila because the word 'Shila' is usually spoken by Vaisnava devotee or is hindu sanskrit words.
• 'Shila' refers to  Form and Murti of God in sanskrit (deity).
• Shaligram Shila is only One sacred murti of god vishnu in Universe which is worshipped in every home and temple to please god vishnu from ancient Puranic Period.
• Shaligram is one of the name and incarnation of god vishnu himself for welfare of human. Lord vishnu appeared as visible god as Saligram in Kaliyuga
