Product Description

Nitto SPV 225 Surface Protection Film Tape

SPV 225 is a surface protection tape with a unique deformation behaviour.

This product consists of a blue transparent or clear transparent PVC film coated with a pressure sensitive acrylic-based adhesive. For easy unwind, the backing of the PVC-film is coated with a special silicone release. SPV 225 is a comparable product as SPV 224 but has a higher adhesion level and is therefore more suitable for structured stainless steel and rough aluminium.

Application

SPV 225 is suitable for the protection of stainless steel and aluminium during processing, transport and storage. SPV 225P is an ideal product to be used on metal surfaces during severe mechanical processes such as deep drawing, profiling or bending. The unique composition of the product makes it possible to protect the substrate through the complete process from deep drawing (single & multi-step) till the end-user.
