Why Bamboo

Bamboo has been used in China for over 4,000 years, mainly for daily production and living purposes such as chopsticks, cups, chairs, bamboo dishes and musical instruments. Before paper was invented, Chinese people used bamboo slips to record history and spread culture. The flexibility and durability of bamboo products is what made this material very popular and reliable. Besides, bamboo has sweet smell, elegance, unique grain and cozy color. We have every reason to believe that  bamboo products continue to grow due to its environment-friendly & renewable resources quality.

1. It helps preventing people from rheumatoid arthritis. Bamboo can automatically adjust and maintain the temperature in certain space and itself won release heat.
2. It helps improving eyesight. Bamboo texture can adsorb UV ray and its soft cozy natural color is vision beneficial.
3. It helps reducing noise. Bamboo by nature absorbs sound and reduces sound pressure. It can largely shorten noising time.
4. It helps reducing allergic asthma attack. After technical processing of boiling, bleaching and carbonizing, all nutrients in bamboo fiber are removed and the living condition for borers and bacteria is completely destroyed. Therefore, bamboo products won’t mildew to cause asthma and allergies.
5. It is endowed with natural merits. Like human being, Bamboo is natural life form. Its grain is irregular but regularly changes. 
6. Bamboo features natural color and unique grain. Bamboo by nature is s symbol of elegance and treasure. It gives out sweet smells and it has grace grain.

How to install bamboo flooring

1. Main jobs to do before installation
The ground should be dry. The ground drying time with cement: no less than 4 months in low temperature area and no less than half an year in high-temperature area. To shorten the time, you can use gesso the expedit the dryness.

•  Installation way of wood stripIf you love installation way of wood strip, check the following tips. Wood strip(25-40mm) with high density and water content rate of 8%-14%, should be set and fixed on the dry and clean ground with a distance of 250*300mm. Try to keep the wood strip smooth and plain.

• Installation way without wood strip
  If you adopt direct installation way without wood strip, the original ground must also be kept dry, clean and smooth. Hight difference in horizontal of ground is requested to be less than 2mm.

• Moisture-proof treatment
  Porper measurement of anti-humidity should be taken before installation that you may place a layer of nylon film on the dry, clean and smooth ground till to covering some 80mm height of the wall that will be covered by baseboard. If the floor is installed in the first floor ground, pre-treatment of water-proof is especially necessary.

2.Another Important measure of "Time Efficiency for Flooring"
This is very important. Unpack the floor cartons and keep the boards open widely and rest them on the site for 5-7 days before installation, in order to make the boards adapt the temperature and humidity of your room.

3.Installation of Bamboo Flooring

•  Direction of installation

Direction of installation should be kept the same as that of the room length, and the floors be installed one by one from left or from right with their grooves facing the wall. A fap between floor and wall should be kept 10-15mm and need to put the wood edges.

• Installation method of flooring

Fix the grooves and tongues of flooring, install the bamboo flooring directly on the base of ground. The end joints of flooring shuld be staggered (generally speaking, on the position of 1/2 or 1/3 staggered). It doesn't need to be nailed or put glues. At the same time, we should check the straightness and flastness of flooring arrangement when installing. We should also pay attention to the color deviation, select the similar color floors to be put together. In addition, we can use the color deviation to create shade design, increase the effect of apperance.

•  Keep the flooring in proper tightness when installation

In the areas where there are great differnces of moisture in different season, you should keep fitting of boards in proper tightness according to the weather condition. Floors with lower water rate should be installed loosely when under dry weather conditions; on the contrary, floors with higher water rate should be installed tightly when under damp conditions. Otherwise, the floors will be curved or swelled or isolated with the season changing.

4.The last step for installation

• You have to cut some boards when finishing installation. In order to prevent from penetration of water or moisture, edge joints of floors must be painted where it is cut.
• After installation, a few of spring sheets should be placed between the grooves and wall in way of installation without wood strip.
•  In some where of the gate and other connecting places, you have to cut some floors so as to leave enough space for welling or shrinkage, then T-molding or reduces can be installed to connect them and cover the space. Meanwhile, there must be 3-5mm space left between the bottom of doors and floor to benefit you open door freely.
• Thickness of baseboards should be less than 14mm. It must cover the swelling gap totally.
  Remarks: Installation without with strip can be suitable for heat flooring.
