Rahwana is antagonist in the story of ramayana, He's the main character as opposed to Rama. In the story, he is the King of Alengka, while Rakshasa, or demon, thousands of years ago. Ravana has another name "Dasamuka" which means the ten face, shows that he has good knowledge in the Vedas and literature. He also has twenty hands, showing pride and infinite willingness. He is also said to be a great warrior.
