Nylon Paracord, Made by a Certified US Gov't Contractor, 550 lb. Test, 7 Strand Core, 100% Nylon,  The sheath (mantle) is braided from 32 strands and the core (kern) made up of seven two,yarns, which seems to specify three-ply yarns for the core. It is possible, however, that the two plies contain a similar amount of nylon as the equivalent three-ply yarns and behave similarly.
