Butyl mastic tape product description:

Butyl mastic tape is our specialized product. It is an ethylene propylene rubber based high voltage tape possessing superior electrical, chemical, mechanical, and thermal properties. It is a self-amalgamating tape that fuses quickly yielding a void-free, electrically stable build-up. It is also compatible to all extruded dielectric cable insulation.        

It is a versatile material for waterproofing, corrosion protection, jointing and repair of cables - used indoors and outdoors. Product properties and correct application ensure waterproof connections (for fresh and sea water) in a wide range of temperatures.

Butyl mastic tape features:

1. Wide operating temperature range: -40 ... +80 ^oC

2.Compatibility with a wide range of rubber and plastic dielectric cable insulation (e.g. PE, PVC, butyl, neoprene)

3.High resistance to prolonged immersion in water and excellent resistance to ozone;

4.The tape can be removed cleanly from most surfaces - ideal for temporary repairs;

5.The tape is interleaved with a disposable plastic liner.
