The  8,000 gram capacity Buoyancy Balance system is designed for use in determining the particle density (specific gravity) of aggregates between 63 mm and 5 mm.

The system consists of a heavy-duty support frame that incorporates a water tank mounted on a platform. A mechanical lifting device is used to raise the water tank and immerse the specimen suspended below the balance.

The balance included with the system can also be used for general weighing applications.
