Sulfide ores rotary kiln introduction:
Rotary kiln belongs to building equipment. It can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy and chemical kiln,refractory kiln and lime kiln. Sulfide ores rotary kiln belongs to important chemical kiln. Besides, it aslo has metallurgy and chemical kiln, mainly used for Kaolin and refractory, clinker and alumina calcination. And chemical kiln, mainly used in chrome ore, Ni, P, SI, S and so on. The last widely used is active lime kiln, mainly used for active lime and light burning dolomite calcination in iron plant and ferroally plant.
Normally, the whole design of the rotary kiln is composed of the below five sections:

1.High Automation Level
The calcinating rotary kiln is with advanced structure. Its pre-heater with low-pressure loss can improve preheating effect efficiently. After preheating, the resolution ratio of the materials can reach 20~25% when they enter the kiln.
2.Waste Heat be Reused Effectively
The two sides of the reliable rotary kiln are sealed by the combined scales, which can make the air leakage coefficient less than 10%. Composite refractory materials should be used in order to reduce the loss of radiant heat.
3.Low Energy Consumption
The filling vertical cooler, round or square, can be zoned-ventilation, which can make the temperature of material in the cooler at about 80 degress Celsius. As a result, it is very convenient to transport and store. It can also pre-heater the secondary air up to the temperature above 700 degress Celsius, then the waste heat can be recycled to reduce energy consumption
Working principle
The sulfide ores rotary kiln is a cylindrical vessel, at first the material will be feeded into the shell at the head of the kiln. And then the fuel will be spurted from the kiln tail or head , the hot air maybe fair tide or counter current with the under processing material, turn over and mixing the material from the high-end to low-end along the axial because of the shell's slope and low speed rotation. The material will be calcined into clinker after discomposition, calcination and cooling process.
The hot air may be generated in an external furnace, or may be generated by a flame inside the kiln. Such a flame is projected from a burner pipe (or "firing pipe") which acts like a large Bunsen burner. The fuel for this may be gas, oil or pulverized coal.
