The altitude is supposed to be lower than 1000m, the ambient temperature is lower than 40centigrade, the corresponding rating regulation is suggested to be done according to standard provided beyond above operation condition.

1. High Reliability By adopting the special VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation) technology and excellent NOMEX® insulation paper, the product shows good overall temperature and humidity resistance as the compact NOMEX® insulation paper still keeps 90% of dielectric strength under complete drying when the humidity is 95%, and good radiation resistance as the product still has original electrical performance and mechanical property in the event of 800 Mrad ionizing radiation.
2. Strong Overload Capacity Because of using NOMEX®paper as a major insulation material, the product has large heat-resistant margin. NOMEX® paper belongs to C-class insulation, and can work safely and stably under 220℃ for a long term. Designed as H-class insulation, the product’s maximum operation temperature is 180℃, therefore, 40℃ heat-resistant margin will ensure the transformer to work safely even under the circumstances of higher air temperature, more harmonic components and short running beyond installed capacity.
3. Good Environmental Protection, Low Noise NOMEX® paper will endure a short running at 350℃, and cannot soften, fuse and support combustion at 250℃. It will not send out toxic or corrosive gas even at the temperature of 750℃, and never embrittle at an extremely low temperature. The iron core is made out of imported high-quality oriented silicon sheet under optimized design, so the noise will be controlled within 48dB, and the environmental performance is excellent.
4. Good Electrical Performance and Small Partial Discharge
Construction types
There are different construction types for transformers used in commercial buildings. Our understanding of their general characteristics will allow the designer and end user to make the proper selection for the electrical system application. Following are some of the transformer types available in the industry along with a few of their characteristics:
Ventilated dry-type transformers are ventilated by air, use larger space for clearance, and use different insulating materials to augment the dielectric strength of the air. They contain an enclosure surrounding the windings for their mechanical protection and the safety of personnel. This type is the most common to be used in the building indoor electrical system distribution. See Table 1 for typical dry-type transformer ratings, dimensions, and weights.
Sealed dry-type transformers are similar to dry type in most of their characteristics. The difference is they contain an enclosed tank with nitrogen or other dielectric gas to protect the windings. They can be installed outdoors or indoors. They are useful in areas with a corrosive or dirty atmosphere.
Cast-coil transformers are constructed with the primary and secondary windings encapsulated in reinforced resin. They can be installed where moisture or airborne contaminants exist.
Nonventilated dry-type transformers are similar to the ventilated type but are totally enclosed. This type can be installed in areas with corrosive or dirty atmospheric conditions where it would be impossible to use a ventilated-type transformer.
