3. Dredger description

    This kind of dredger is made up of one  pontoon, one gantry frame, one winch, one sand pump, one water jet pump, one main engine, one auxiliary engine, one cabin, one suction head, one suction pipe, one discharge pipe, long distance discharge pipe.

Generally, this dredger is matched with the auto sand suction transporter. The transporter transports sand to the shore and unload sand into river, then this dredger discharges sand to the bank.

How to work? The sand suction dredger is working in the river or in the sea.

First drop the suction head and suction pipe into river bottom and then start engines.

The main engine drives the sand pump and auxiliary engine drives the water jet pump.

Water jet pump can suck water and spray to the river bottom to make sand soft, then the sand pump will make sand suck into the sand suction head then the sand will be through the sand discharge pipe.
