KZ75-1520 ballast hopper wagon is used to transport ballast for track construction or maintenance on 1520mm gauge railway. The wagon could be used to transport grain goods too. KZ75-1520 ballast hopper wagon consists of underframe, underframe accessory, side wall, end wall, operating cab, ballast discharge system, coupler and draft gear, braking system, bogie, etc. The bottom discharging door could be operated manually or pneumatically to ensure required ballast discharging uniformly. The wagon could be loaded from top and unloaded from bottom. It could discharge the ballast inside or outside the track. The mechanical transmission of discharging door could be driven mainly by penumatic power and could be driven by auxiliary manuial power if necessary.
