Brief introduction of the virtical ring die pellet mill:
With the rapid development of animal feed industry and utilization of virtical ring die pellet mill has become increasingly popular. It not only can process feedstuff for animals such as feed for fish, chickens, pigs, etc., but can also convert waste biomass materials into wood pellets.

Working principle of virtical ring die pellet mill:

 

1) The feed ingredients run through feeder into conditioner and will be conditioned & mixed in the conditioner with vapor, then it goes into the pelletizing chamber through blanking taper slot.

 

2) The powder material is feeded by scraper into the second pelletizing zone in the ring die. And then the material will be pressed by ring die and rollers into pellets.

 

3) The pellet is discharged from the die hole and cut into the requested size by the cutter.

 

Requirements of virtical ring die pellet mill:
1. Raw materials need to be crushed and dried.                         
2. Mix the main material and many other subsidiary materials evenly.
3. Put the powder into the chamber, then the roller presses the powder through the holes in the die to form pellets meanwhile a cutter in the other side of the die cuts and the pellets that has been pressed out from the holes.                                  
4. Make sure the pellets are cooled before the storage.
