e)Requirements:
1. Raw materials need to be crushed and dried. The size is less than 3mm, the moisture is less than 12%.
2. Mix the main material and many other subsidiary materials evenly.
3. Put the powder into the chamber, then the roller presses the powder through the holes in the die to form pellets meanwhile a cutter in the other side of the die cuts and the pellets that has been pressed out from the holes.
4. Make sure the pellets are cooled before the storage.
f) The whole production line
Step 1---Crushing process
The best material diameter for supporting to produce pellet is 1-5mm. Thus if your material's diameter exceed 5mm, then you need crushing machine to crush and grind them into small powder 1-5mm for supporting to produce pellets. Our SFSP series chipping and crushing machine is your best choice. It mills raw material like tree branch, wood shavings, wood chips, wood logs, cotton stalk, wheat straw etc, with size less than 30mm (diameter). After milled, the output size can reach diameter 3-5 mm, then it is pushed to next process to get dried and pelletized.
Step 2----Drying process
The best moisture content to pelletizing is about 11-17%. Our rotary dryer is made up of
burning stove and main rotary dryer which is high efficiency in drying the wood and biomass material. It can realize to reduce the moisture from 50% to 10%. The rotary dryer uses steam to heat air and contact material to remove certain degree of moisture. It is very important for wood pellet plant to using moisture detector which will determine the most suitable moisture before pelletizing.
Step 3----Pelletizing pocess
Organic fertilizer pellet mill is the most important part of whole production line, it has reliable running performance. It is special designed for compacting of wood, straw, and other biomass source into pellets. Capacity ranges from 1T to 10T per hour
Step 4----Cooling process
Usually after pelletizing, the temperature of wood pellets is between 60-80 degrees and the moisture content is close to 15%. For storage purposes, a cooler must be used to reduce their surface temperature and the moisture content, also help screen good and pure pellets.
Step 5----Packing process
After cooling process, the wood pellets will not directly enter into the fuel process, avoiding the wood pellet affected with damp, the packing process is very necessary. The packing process is effectively handled by our Semi-Auto Packing Machine
