Germany Use Heatray Electric Heater (2000W)
Electric radiant heaters are the most cost effective means of heating larger spaces. Savings of up to 30% can be made when compared to conventional convection based heating systems. Radiant heaters heat people, not the surrounding air. The radiated heat "naturally" migrates to where it is most needed, which facilitates the creation of a comfortable indoor climate.
Radiant Heater is directly transforming electricity into heat. It provides heat through radiant heat transfer to reduce heat losses. It works like the sun, so avoiding heat-exchange flows that may result in floating dust within the air.

Installation Instructions – Heat-On FIR Radiant Heating Panels
Before installation, you must read this guide for correct installation and use. If you have any questions in relations to installation or use of the product, please contact us.
(1) Preparation
a) The Heat-On FIR radiant ceiling heating panels are low consumption/wattage heaters designed for either main (central) or subsidiary heating for domestic or commercial heating applications.
b) The heater is fitted with a short length (350mm) of flexible cable for electrical connection.
c) The heaters should be connected as a fixed installation/hard wired by a licensed electrical person, according to the relevant electrical standards.
d) This appliance does not require to be earthed.
e) In case of heater fault, the Head Office must be notified immediately, the appliance will then need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
(2) Installation – Location
a) Heater must not be closer than 300mm to adjacent walls.
b) Heater must not be installed closer than 150mm from light fittings (down lights).
c) Heater does not require any clearance between the back and any ceiling surface.
d) The heaters are designed to heat with a minimum ceiling height of 2400mm and a maximum of 5000mm.
e) When installing multiple panels in one room please ensure that the panels are spaced a minimum distance apart equal to the length of the specified panels.
f) When installed in wet areas, the heaters must be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by persons in the bath or shower.
(3) Installation – Heaters
a) Clean the ceiling and mark out the fixing points as per the recommended installation location.
b) Mount the heating panels by fixing screws into timber or ceiling toggles above plaster to firmly secure the heaters to the ceiling surface. The fixing torque needs to be fairly rigid to prevent any expansion/contraction movements while panels operate.
c) Once panels are securely fixed cover the naked holes with the supplied hole plugs.
d) Connect the heater wire to the power line of the thermostat.
e) Connect the thermostat wires as per the thermostat installation instructions.
f) When capacity is over 3500watts/14.6 Amps please use a magnetic contactor for switching.
g) After installation, set the thermostat temperature to over 25 Degrees C, wait for 90 seconds and than touch each heating panel to make sure they have been correctly installed.
