Application

Suction Guide is mounted directly on a centrifugal
pump and eliminates a number of fittings like


  • long radius bend


  • conventional strainer


  • straight pipe at pump suction


  • flanges, nuts, bolts, gaskets

Principle of operation

The water flow is passed through an in-built
strainer to remove suspended solids and then guided to the pump suction through
flow straighteners. Fine mesh filter provided helps to prevent seal failure and
instrumentation damage during commissioning.
