As one type of permanent suspending equipment,building maintenance units are applied to the washing and maintenance of windows and outer walls of buildings and structures. Special design of building maintenance units is required by actual situation of each building since the shape and building surface varies.

According to power unit, the building maintenance units can be classified into climbing type and winch type.The power unit of climbing type building maintenance units is installed on the suspended platform, while the power unit of which type is on the winch of the trolley on the building surface. Climbing type building maintenance units come with fixed jib with protable davit and motorized trolley with powered cradle. Winch type building maintenance units are only equipped with motorized trolley with powered cradle.

Building maintenance units is necessary to set up when the height of the glass curtain wall surpasses 40M. The building maintenance units are classified into railway type,wheel load type, and suspended working platform type. Building maintenance units will be designed according to type selection. Dimension of height, section and elevation of the building and the flat and section drawing of floor where the building maintenance units can be installed. Railway pre buried foundation drawing,equipment loading,power capacitance and other technical drawings shall be obtained for the design and drawing.
