1.Gari can be enjoyed as a snack in cold water on a very hot day. It can also be cooked in hot water into a starchy paste, 

popularly called ‘eba’. 

2.There is ‘gari foto,’ which is gari sprinkled with a little water to soften, and then mixed with vegetable sauce, especially 

tomato stew.
