Overview about River Dredge Sand Pump
AMG sand pumps are designed for continuously handling the most difficult higher abrasive slurry which contain too big solids to be pumped by a common pump.
They are suitable for delivering slurry in mining, explosive sludge in metal smelting, dredging in dredger and course of rivers, and other fields. Type AMG sand pumps are of high-head ones.
Construction of sand pump is of single casing connected by means of clamp bans and wide wet-passage.
The wet-parts are made of Ni-hard and high chromium abrasion-resistance alloys.
The discharged direction of pump can be oriented in any direction of 360°.
This type of pump possesses the advantages of easy installing and operation, good performance of NPSH and abrasion-resistance.

Attentions when connect the sand pump inlet and elbow directly
It will lead uneven distribution the fluid when from the elbow to impeller if connect the water pump inlet and elbow directly.
When the inlet diameter is greater than pump inlet should be installed eccentric adjustable tube.
The eccentric different-diameter pipe flat face should installed upper and the slopes under.
If not, the air will result increase the flow rate or can not suck the water and will have crashing noise.
If same for the diameters, should add a straight pipe between pump inlet and elbow.
The length can not shorter than twice or three times of pipe diameter.
