Wind coal drill is mainly used for mine, building, tunnel, coal seam and soft rock drilling, it has gradually replaced the electric coal drill. Equipped with the twist drill pipe or drill pipe, can be used with gas legs. Light weight makes it easier to handle than electric drill.

In coal mine and construction engineering, pneumatic coal drill can be hand held or equipped with gas legs for coal seam, soft sandstone and shale gas drilling .Drilling range is from 35 to 45 mm.
