DDC-8 electronic auto-compensation instrument (resistivity meter) is a new model instrument. It is developed by our factory on the basis of many year’s experience in productive resistivity meter and by reference of the advanced technology oversea. The instrument’s transmission and reception are combined in the same case. It can be applicable for various resistivity prospecting methods and displayed the measuring parameters directly, such as apparent resistivity (denoted Rs), the amperage and voltage.

It is widely used in geologic prospecting like hydrogeology, engineering, environmental protection, searching for groundwater to solve the water problem for men and animals, and prospecting using the method of high-resolution resistivity. It is also used for metal and non-metal mineral, energy sources, geothermal, railway and bridge survey and detecting the incipient faults of dam foundations.

6. Setting of power-on time (1-59s) is adjustable free. When working, there are 9 kinds of common working methods to choose.
7. Data protection against power failure. The results of the measurement are up to 800 points in the instrument itself.
8. Connecting with other computer through a RS-232C I/O interface.
9. With the fault diagnosis program, the common fault source can be real-time displayed.
10. With totally enclosed frame, it has the advantage of the dust-proof, waterproof and long service life.
