The Introduction of Electric Precipitator:
An electrostatic precipitator (ESP), or electrostatic air cleaner is a particulate collection device that removes particles from a flowing gas (such as air) using the force of an induced electrostatic charge. Electrostatic precipitators are highly efficient filtration devices that minimally impede the flow of gases through the device, and can easily remove fine particulate matter such as dust and smoke from the air stream.The electric precipitator can be applied in Copper, aluminum, zink smelter, fertilizer manufacturing plant, glass manufacturing plant, cement plant, paper manufacturing plant, sulfuric acid, coke plant, and incinerators.
Exhaust gas from the gas duct is evenly distributed by a gas straightening wand located ath the bottom of the precipitator and introduced into the dust collector. When a cluster of microparticles suspended in the gas are introduced into the precipitator, they are completely charged by passing through the strong coronal discharge created by the needle discharge electrode. The particles are then asorbed by the precipitator electrode. When a moderate layer of particles have accumulated on the board, this layer can be removed using water spray from the nozzle attached to the water spray bar. The dust is removed with washwater from the bottom of the precipitator.
The Characteristics of the Electric Precipitator:
1.High precipitation efficiency.The needle electrode is attached to the discharge electrode, heightening the ionization effect and allowing the effective collection of microparticles.
2.Stainless steel wire mesh for the precipitator.Depending upon gas intake conditions, metal mesh (wire) can be used to collect dust and clean the board.
3.Minimal pressure loss. Less than 10mmH2 pressure loss.
4.Rarely malfuntions. A stainless cylinder is used as a discharge electrode, reducing the wire disconnections common in traditional electrodes and extending equipment life almost indefinitely. It has also be specially designed to prohibit insulator damage.
