V-BELT PULLEY
A pulley, also called a sheave, is a mechanism composed of a wheel or shaft that may have a groove between two flanges around its circumference. A belt, or chain usually runs over the wheel and inside the groove, if present. Pulleys are used to change the direction of an applied force, transmit rotational motion, or realize a mechanical advantage in either a linear or rotational system of motion. It is one of the six simple machines. Two or more pulleys together are called a block and tackle.

CAST IRON
The term "cast iron" refers not to a single material, but to a family of materials whose major constituent is iron, with important trace amounts of carbon and silicon. Cast irons are natural composite materials whose properties are determined by their microstructures - the stable and metastable phases formed during solidification or subsequent heat treatment. The major microstructural constituents of cast irons are the chemical and morphological forms taken by carbon, and the continuous metal matrix in which the carbon and/or carbide are dispersed.

Tapered Split Bushings that fit into a matching tapered bore in a Sheave, Sprocket, Pin Bush Couple, Pulley etc. used to securely mount the product on to a shaft. Tapered split bushings offered by us have the following features:
HOW TO INSTALL -
Clean all parts of bushing and bore of hub thus removing any oil, lacquer or dirt. Install bushing in hub and half holes to make complete holes.
Oil thread and either the end of set screws or under the head of set screws. Install screws in loosely in holes that are threaded on hub side.
Make sure the bushing is free on hub. Slip assembly onto shaft and align in desired position.
Tighten Screws until the parts has tightened.
TO REMOVE -
Remove all Screws. Oil thread and either end of set Screws or under the head of cap screws.
Insert screws in hole(s) that are threaded on bushing side. Note that there will be one extra screw left over.
Tighten screws alternatively until the bushing is loose in the hub. It may be necessary to tap on the hub to loosen the bushing

NYLON SLEEVE GEAR COUPLING |
Nylon couplings are compact and require no lubrication. They operate over a wide temperature range at speeds up to 5, 000 RPM and are effectively used in applications such as Motor/ Generator sets, pump sets, and many light to medium duty industrial coupling applications. No lubricants are ever required, eliminating the need for seals. The resilient nature of the nylon material makes the contact of the hubs and sleeves almost frictionless. Since no lubrication is used, the coupling can readily be adapted to many applications including vertical and blind installations where the slip-together components offer easy inspection and adjustment. |

Gear Couplings also called Unisoft Gear Couplings are power dense and capable of transmitting high torque at high speeds while still remaining inherently well balanced. Gear Couplings transmit torque by the mating on two hubs with external gears teeth that are Joined by flanged sleeves with internal Gear Teeth.
