In China, there is a very famous traditional play, it is our China Opera. The Jing gong just is the music instrument for China Opera, just because the Opera is original from China capital Beijing city, so it is also called Jing gong.

Now there are two size Jing gongs, 28.5cm and 30cm. And for each gongs, there is a standard small mallet for playing.
