Gabion wire mesh types:

gabion mattresses are generally used for riverbank protection and channel linings.

Gabion box filled with stone at the project size to form flexible ,permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, sea wall, channel linings, revetments, and weirs for erosion control projects.

Gabion sacks are cylindrical baskets,which are good for water to seep through the structure, relieving the hydrostatic pressures, insure the earth's shear strength, well for whole structure's stable; meanwhile, saved the charge for traditional retaining drainage equipment, low down the whole cost.

Application:

Used for retaining walls, sea wall, channel linings, revetments, and weirs for erosion control projects.
