-Measure and cut 4-by-4 lumber into four lengths of 18 inches for the corner posts of the raised bed. Cut with a hand saw and sharpen the bottom side of each post to make something of the form points.Measure and cut four lengths of timber bridge 6 inches wide in the desired dimensions on both sides of the rectangular raised bed . Cut with a handsaw and set aside. Also cut from the deck, four lengths of wood the same width for the short sides
