Proper use instructions

Be sure you have your pet under control before attempting to attach the retractable leash.
Fasten the leash hook onto the metal loop of your pets collar.
When leash is at a desired length, push the lock button forward with your thumb, this will cause the leash to lock. To release, slide the button backward. To temporarily hold your pet at a certain length, hold down the large black button with your thumb, and once released the leash will then begin to retract.
If the retractable leash seperates itself from your dog's collar during use, immediately turn your face away and instantly apply the brake button.

Do not use this leash on uncontrollable or disobdient dogs.
Follow all operation instructions, failure to do so can result with the retractable leash hook causing serious facial, head, and eye injuries, to you or your dog.
The leash or hook can also cause serious cuts, abrasions, burns and asmputations to anyone. This includes children, infants, & pets who come in contact with the leash or hook.
Never wrap the leash around any body parts.
Do not use this retractable leash if on medication that makes you sleepy of groggy, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Do not attempt to open the housing or to repair this retractable leash. Refrain from using the leash if it becomes damaged or is not working properly.
Do not hole the leash by the cord.
