Welded wire mesh is economical and ideal for many uses. Heavier gauge wire will last longer due to the fact that it will take longer for rust to eat through the wire. The gauge and mesh sizes are determined by the final use of the product. 

PVC coated welded wire mesh is coated with a thick layer of PVC. Not only does the vinyl coating seal the wire from water and other corrosive elements, but the underlying mesh is also protected by a zinc coating.

  Application of Welded Wire Mesh Fabrics :
Welded wire mesh is extensively used as decoration and machinery protection material in agriculture, construction, transport, mine, sports field, lawn and various industrial fields. 
Smaller meshes made with lighter gauge wires are ideal for making cages for small animals. 
The heavier gauges and meshes with larger openings make good fences.
