Introduction

Galvanised welded wire square mesh is an ideal solution for aviaries and bird cages. The benefit of using a welded square mesh is the range of wire thicknesses available, roll thickness or mesh panels sizes. Canaries, finches and budgie cages can use our 13x13mm (1/2"x1/2") welded wire mesh aperture products. For large birds and parrot aviaries our 25x25mm (1"x1") welded wire mesh is more suitable.

When considering a new bird cage/aviary we recommend the aviary mesh be installed on the internal side of the cages frame, posts or structure. The external frame can be "doubled-up" or covered with a rodent-proof mesh which will protect rodents entering the cage and causing damage or disease.
