 Introductions of rocker bearing

  These cam followers and yoke rollers are easily mounted and ideally suited for many cam or track roller applications with moderate loading and shock. The bearings are sealed to help prevent contamination and retain lubrication. They are recommended for applications where the stud hole can be accurately machined to within +.0000” and -.0005”. The outer race is made from high carbon chrome bearing steel, through-hardened and ground. The studs and inner races are low carbon alloy steel carburized and induction hardened. A zone hardened raceway leaves the shank end ductile. The needle rollers are high carbon chrome bearing steel, through—hardened and ground.

These cam followers and yoke rollers are often used with our press-fit cam follower covers. These covers have a smooth urethane outer surface that is permanently bonded to a steel insert. They are designed to be press fit on our cam followers and yolk rollers to prevent metal to metal contact and damage to finished or delicate surfaces. They also extend the life of the cam follower and yoke roller while providing noise reduction during operation. The urethane provides excellent abrasion resistance and durability and is available in 95 durometer hardness.
