Operation instruction
Cyclone, relying on inertia centrifugal pull of revolving air, is a simple and effective deduster. With low price, simple structure, compact design, manufacturing easily, management and maintenance convenience, no moving parts, Cyclone is widely used in grain, food, metallurgy, mining, cement, petrochemical and other industries.
Structure and operating process
There are three kinds of cyclone in our company: Spin under-60 series, under-55 series and Germany spin-efficient cyclone.
Cyclone is made up of inner and outer the two cylinders cone and vents. The two cylinders and the dust exit are at the same axes. Dust-laden air with high speed enters the upper part of the outer cylinder by the tangential line, and then makes top-down high-speed spiral movement between the two cylinders and the cone. Under the centrifugal pull the dust is thrown onto the wall of outside cylinder. With the collision and friction the dust gradually loses speed, and then under the gravity falls along the wall of the cone and finally is discharged from the dust exit.
The top-down rotary air: some is discharged from the inside cylinder gradually in the midway. And the left runs and shrinks along the cone and then goes up to the body center spirally and then is also discharged from the inside cylinder.
Performance & character and application scope
The dedust efficiency can be 95-99% when dealing with 40-50 micron dust. And with 10-15 micron dust the spin-efficient cyclone can achieve the same efficiency. But in practical operations, most of cyclone rings from 50% to 90%.
Application Scope: 1) Gather big dust 2) Lower dedust efficiency occasions 3) high dust-load air 4) Be series used with other deduster which has high efficiency to the small dust, such as pulse deduster.
1. Shunt-wound operation
The small diameter cyclone has higher duster efficiency and its dust exits can share one dust hopper. So in order to meet the large volume of air dealing, cyclone is always shunt-wound operation.
2. Series-wound operation
Experiments show that under normal circumstances two series-wound cyclone has lower efficiency.But in certain circumstances we can consider series-wound operation.
(1) Fragile materials: the airflow speed cannot be too high in the dust-collection device.
(2) Accident prevention by series-wounded operation.
The deduster efficiency generally improves with the dust concentration. So in order to improve high dust load air dedust efficiency cyclone is always used as the first grade deduster. And the second grade deduster always adopts pulse deduster r or wet deduster, which has high efficiency dealing with lower concentration dust. What’s more, cyclone can prevent the massive or flammable, explosive materials entering the second grade deduster.
Main technical specifications
The wind speed at the entrance and the cylinder diameter are the main factors to affect the deduster efficiency and the key to choose the suitable models choice.
Installation
1. According to the actual needs and to install the pipe easily, there are two installation ways: general installation and inter-floor installation.
2. Installation Method: Cyclone must be unit installed. Deformation is not allowed because it can cause inefficiencies.
3. Must be installed vertically.
Operating regulation and maintenance
1. If the impurities are excessive and complex, please check the inflowing hole if it is blocked by rope. Ensure inflowing smoothly.
2. Generally the dust exit is connected with the airlock. So if there are some common faults please check the connection and the airlock and then open the inspection door on the dust exit to smooth the flowing. No knocking heavily.
3. Ensure the tightness of cyclone, especially the discharging hole because the air leakage can drop the dedust efficiency heavily
