GCr15 Characteristic:

It also contains major alloying elements and offers reasonably. GCr15 steel is a kind of worldwide steel grades among high carbon complex bearing steel production and use. But it is sensitive to white dots and has worse welding property.

The wear resistance of bearing also increases the rigidity. GCr15 forging technology spray up as a new fast solidification technology, repels the enormous advantage in materials making and processing. Using this technology forming GCr15 steel , 2.98wt % si supper high carbon steel and Cu- 20wt﹪Fe in-situ composite. And studying their texture and property, spray forming GCr15.

Steel as-cast structure is shaft fine lamellar pearlite its average spacing of 85mm. Through oil quenching, average width of martensite plates is 0.35um. According to x radial analysis and TEM observation, hardness will decrease with the tempering temperature and be related to expanding of ε carbide. Spraying up by CCT curve test GCr15 steel

Ms(150℃) lower 100℃ than Mother alloy Ms(250℃). The main reason is that carbon content of solid solution in GCr15 is higher than Mother alloy.
