NXL Series strain clamp (wedge type)is suitable for distribution wire up to 10kV,fixing the aerial insulation aluminium conductor or naked aluminium conductor on the rotate angle or insulator of terminal strain pole, and then fixing and tighting the aerial conductor ,insulation cover and strain clamp are used together. It’s action is insulation protection.

 

1.Withstand voltage: ≥18kV keep voltage one minute not break down

2.Insulation resistance: >1.0×1014Ω

3.Environments temperature: -30?~90?

4.Weather proof performance: have good performanced after 1008 hours artifical climate aging test.

5.4.5Stram clamp and insulation cover

Strain Clamps

1.Skin the insulation material of wires with a length 5 cm more than that of wire clip, and hang C form parts and splitting wire on the main cable ,and then insert the wedge between the two wires with force .

2.Insert special bolt into the preset hole of C form parts ,where the bolt will be fixed into the threaded hole of wedge ,then screw the bolt on with a socket spanner until the first nut drops .

3.Use insulation tape to wrap the over-skimmed sections of clips and wires ,or protect the wire clips with clip covers .
