Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System:

Principle:

Immerse the hull in sea water will cause corrosion.ICCP will protect metal’s material hull from corrosion with applying protective current on it. The more the current is,the more the electrons will be accumulated on cathode’s surface.When the potential is negative to a certain value,the metal surface will be equiqotential,and then the hull will be protected from corrosion.

Process:

A whole ICCP system consists of electric cabinet,auxiliary anode,conference cell,dielectric shield,rudder and propeller stock grounding.ICCP protect the hull with direct current through auxiliary anode installed on it.

Measurement the hull potential constantly,and adjust the released current to reach the best protection effect.
