Dissolved air flotation used for oily wastewater treatment
This range of packaged dissolved air floatation units are ideal for the removal of solids, fats, oils and greases from insustrial waste water and hydrocarbons envirmnmental remediation projects.
Using established solid-liquid separation technology, the units generate”whitewater” bydissolving air under pressure and then releasing the pressure to form micro air bubbles.
Solids and other particulates preferentially attach to the air bubbles and rise to the suiface of the dissolved air flotation unit where they are collected, thickened and removed by a motoried scraper. Treated water can then be reused or discharged off site as necessary.

- Highly energy efficient-very high level of clarification with significantly lower pressurisation rate compared to traditional DAF clarifiers.
- Minimises polymer consumptiom by optimising flocculation with extended mixing time in presence of air bubbles and polymer.
