The aquaculture bio filter is expecially design for fish farm, kio pond water filtration.  

It is according to features of aquaculture, use solid fluidization technology and base on the principle of small particles with large surface area and fluidized solids technique, combine advantage of trickling filter with activated sludge process, highly concentrated biofilm, high density, high treatment efficiency, ammonia nitrogen conversions improved 2-4 times. Can efficient rapid degradation of ammonia and nitrite and other harmful substances.

Compare with rectangle bio pond, the aquaculture bio filter occupied less space and easy to wash. There have two back washing inlets, when bio filter media were soiled, connect two back washing inlets with water pump, and open blow-down valve, then pump water into the bio filter, then sludge on PP bio filter media will be washed out.

1. How to install the aquaculture bio filter?

When you receive the aquaculture bio filter media, connect inlet, out let and blow-down outlet. Then turn on water supply, the aquaculture bio filter can work. Please note, the outlet pipe cannot higher than the oulet port.

2. How to deal with water overflow?

Please check whether the bio filter media block the outlet, or the bio filter media was too dirty water cannot go through it in time. In these cases please  connect two back washing inlets with water pump, and open blow-down valve, then pump water into the bio filter to scatter and wash the bio filter media.
