A. Controller
The controller precisely controls the working condition of the motor by using optimized algorithm programmed software. It has the perfect self-protection functions such as over-voltage, over-current, overheating etc. In addition, the structure of the controller is very refined but it possesses excellent performance.
B. Motor
The motor is a structure of energy-saving servo motor for industrial sewing machine. The rotor is made from tombarthite permanent magnet materials, thus it has the advantages of small size, high power, energy saving and high reliability.
Besides, the motor is embedded with hall contactless sensor.
The Installation of Lower Body Type System
Motor Installation
A. Motor installation
Use nut to fix the hanging bottom type system together with motor below the platen, adjust the position of motor pylon, and then make the position of motor pulley on the same level of sewing machine wheel and belt.
B. Adjust the tightness
Press belt with about one kilogram force and the sinkage of the belt should be 1 cm. If the belt is too tight or too loose, it needs to be adjusted appropriately. Then install belt cover. (After tightening the motor, please screw up the connecting bolts between the motor and the pylon).
Controller or Foot Pedal Installation
At the bottom of the right front of the platen, use φ3 drill to make two 1 cm depth holes whose pitch-row is 195 mm. Then use the supplied wood screws totighten the control box, put the plugs of motor, speed controller and power cord into the corresponding sockets. Then tie cable and fix it under the platen far away from the position of the belt. (Figure 1 and Figure 2)
To install speed governor rod, you should guarantee the rod position perpendicular to the pedal. Adjust rod angle so that it is higher in front and lower behind. Make the pedal angle relative to the ground plane about 15 degrees. (Figure 3)
System Wiring Connection
Connect the wire of controller with the 220V electrical box power supply system. User’s power supply system must have separate grounding device and the controller cabinet must be reliably grounded. Put the plugs of the motor, speed governor and the power wire into the corresponding sockets of the end of the control box. After inserting, recheck whether the plugs and sockets are connected well or not. Adjust the position of the plastic sheaths so that they completely wrap the plugs.
Maintenance and General Troubleshooting
When the machine cannot work properly, you need to ask professionally trained personnel to maintain and operate it. The process should be as follows:
1. After booting the controller, it has no power or no response.
Check the power plugs and sockets to make sure that they are connected correctly, and then check fuses to confirm that they do not blow out. If the fuses blow out, they need to be replaced. First, open the plastic cover of the controller and find the location of the fuse holder, then open the cover of the fuse holder, remove the burned-out fuses and replace them with new ones which are the same specifications. The specifications are as follows: 5A/250V Φ5mm×20mm
2. Controller has electricity, but the motor cannot work when pedaling.
If pedaling motor, motor cannot work, check whether the speed governor plug, motor plug and motor signal cord connect well with controller sockets, and also check whether the speed governor is damaged or not.
3. Motor turns sometimes fast and sometimes slow.
Please check whether the belt is too loose or jammed, pulley is slippery, pedal and rod are loose or not.
4. Motor automatically stops when it is still working.
First, please check whether the machine load is too heavy, whether there exist mechanical failures. Second, check whether the power socket and plug, governor socket and plug connect right.
5. After turning on the controller, the motor keeps rotating.
Please check whether the alnico of the speed governor handle sheds, whether the alnico leaves the hall. Normally, the right above a quarter of the hall element shall be covered by alnico.
