Bubble Tubing is a proprietary  lead-free, self-sinking, flexible, fine-bubble diffuser tubing available in 1/2”and 3/4” airline sizes. Bubble Tubing can be used for commercial applications including wastewater and aquaculture. The unique tubing is also used for aerating ponds, water-gardens, long narrow waterways (channels). The 1/2” Bubble Tubing can be run in continuous lengths of 200 feet – and is very easy to install.

The tubing sinks to the bottom on it's own so you don't need to tie bricks or weights to make the tubing sink out of sight like standard PVC tubing which floats when filled with air. Self-Weighted Air Tubing is constructed of a high-density flexible PVC composite which allows it to be handled and installed easily and the rapid sinking properties make Self-Weighted Air Tubing an excellent choice to make aeration installations quick and easy.

SELF-SINKING AIR HOSE: When ordinary hose is used to deliver air from a compressor to a diffuser, it floats to the water surface. One solution is to tie bricks onto aeration hose, but the hose still floats in between the bricks, and the bricks eventually deteriorate. A better solution is to use our self-sinking air hose, a heavy wall black tubing made from a very dense PVC compound. This tubing stays neatly on the pond bottom without the need for ballast, and is extraordinarily tough and abuse resistant. We normally supply 5/8" ID since the large cross-section assures there will be virtually no pressure loss even with more than one thousand feet of hose. We stock 25 ft, 50 ft, and 100 ft lengths; for longer runs, 100 ft lengths can be joined with our barbed couplings and heavy-duty stainless-steel hose clamps.SSSSS
