Pellet fuels (or pellets) are fuels made from compressed organic matter, or, biomass.Pellets can be made from any one of five general categories of biomass: industrial waste and co-products, food waste, agricultural residues, energy crops and virgin lumber. Wood pellets are the most common type of pellet fuel and are generally made from compacted sawdust and related industrial wastes from the milling of lumber, manufacture of wood products and furniture, and construction. Other industrial waste sources include Empty Fruit Bunches [EFB], palm kernel shells, coconut shells, and tree tops and branches discarded during logging operations. Pellets are categorized by their heating value, moisture and ash content, and dimensions. They can be used as fuels for power generation, commercial or residential heating, and cooking. Pellets are extremely dense and can be produced with a low moisture content (below 10%) that allows them to be burned with a very high combustion efficiency.

Pellet Mill refers to a stand-alone equipment. It is the core machine of a complete production line of pellet. Therefore the Complete Line is called pellet plant or pellet complete production line. B: efb pellet production line drying stage: moisture content in your raw material is the key, if moisture content is over 20%, a dryer will be necesary for you to dry raw materials before pelletizing;if MC is below 10%, you have to add some water for increase the adhesiveness.The Optimal MC in raw material is 12-18%.

C: efb pellet production line Pelletizing stage: A pellet mill, also known as a pellet press, is a type of mill or machine press used to create pellets from powdered material.

After the pelletizing process, the temperature of the wood pellet is about 60-80 degree, and the moisture content of the wood pellet is about 15%, so we need use Cooler to reduce about 3-4% moisture, such this the wood pellet is easy to store.
