1. Rotary Kiln Vertical Preheater Introduction
As a major device in the active lime production line, the rotary kiln vertical preheater bears several functions, including material heating, gas-solid
separation, material handling and parts of physical reaction & chemical reaction. This system is highly automatized and enables a single point of control,
which improves production efficiency, makes the production process more humane and intelligent, and makes the production process more convenient.
2. Quick Lime Plant Vertical Preheater Working Process
As a major device in the active lime production line, this vertical preheater is specially designed to send limestone from the upper part to the preheater body, and it can take use of 1150°C exhaust gas, discharged from the calcination kiln, to preheat materials, which is in vertical preheater, evenly to 900°C. During the preheating, 30% CaCO3 is decomposed, and then sent by the hydraulic push rod to rotary kiln for calcination. This kind of calcination process can not only shorten the calcining time, but also get lime with higher activity degree.
3. Working Principle of Vertical Preheater
According to the position of vertical preheater in rotary kiln system, and the working principle of rotary kiln, vertical preheater works under negative pressure. Heat transmission mode is thermal convection. The material and air moves in the way of convection. When raw materials are fed into the preheater, effective measures must be taken to seal the inlet in order to prevent cold air entering the preheater under negative pressure. This is to ensure the effective use of heat and preheating effect in the vertical preheater.
4. Quick Lime Plant Vertical Preheater Structure
Vertical preheater structure primarily including six parts:
(1)Preheater body: It is an important part to ensure that the materials can be preheated to more than 750°C,and it is made up of the preheated room, hoisting devices, refractory lining and other parts. Most of the structure in this part is metal component, and some of them ,we choose the heat-resistant steel according to the need of the material, as the heat-resistant steel can work under 1100-1000°C. Besides, with nice design and good sealing, the refractory lining can ensure that the materials can be evenly preheated and reach the preheat temperature in the body.
(2)The upper part of feeding system: Mainly including the above hopper and feeding pipes, feeding method and structure can guarantee the safe sealed when feeding materials into the body of preheater, so that the cold air from outside can not enter into the preheater ,and it can also make use of Stick valve to achieve continuous feeding.
(3)Lower part feeding room: Mainly includes the elephant trunk, the loading main feed compartment, and the feeding mouth, its main function is to import the materials into rotary kiln after preheating.
(4)Push feeder: mainly including push head, framework, connecting rods and other parts. And the push head applies the cast and welded heat-resistant steel, it can bear high temperature. Besides, each hydraulic push can follow the automatic control program to achieve sequential pushing. with the help of electric and hydraulic system.
(5) Hydraulic system: Mainly includes the oil tank, the oil pump, motor, the solenoid valve, the hydraulic oil pipe, etc. And its main role is to control the Push feeder to complete pushing.
(6) Framework: It mainly includes the column, ring beam and other parts; and the main role is to bear the above part structure of preheater.
