B. Silica Sand Rotary Dryer Working principle:
Sand is sent by the belt conveyor or bucket elevator to the hopper, and then the feeding machine feeds the materials to the materials end by the feeding pipe, the inclination of the feeding pipe should be larger than natural inclination of materials.
3. In order to the materials can flow to the sand dryer smoothly. Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder which is slightly tilted compared to the horizon. Materials were added from the lightly high end, and the heat-carrying materials were added from the low-end to enter into a counter-current contact with the materials, but there also has that heat-carrying materials and the material are putted together into the barrel.
4. Along with the rotating cylinder, materials were moved to the lowest end effected by the gravity. Wet material get the heat from the heat-carrying materials directly or indirectly, during the moving processing in barrel, so as to the wet materials can get dry, then were submitted by the belt machine or screw convey at the discharge side.
5. In the Silica Sand Rotary Dryer cylinder's inwall, there has a stiring plate, whose function is that stir the materials up and down, so that the touching surface between the raw material and airflow get large to improve the drying rate and to promote the material progress.
6. Heat-carrying materials are generally divided into hot air, flue gas and so on. After the heat-carrying materials getting through the dryer, normally it needs to takes cyclone trap the Material inside the gas. For further reduction dustiness in the exhaust gas, the materials should get through the bag dust catcher and wet-type catcher, and then get released.
