The Z587 round baler is intended for collecting plant material raked in banks and rolling it into bales. The baler can work with hay and silage with the maximum moisture content of 20% and 60% respectively, and harvesting straw.

The Z587 baler consists of the following units:

The pickup, located in the front part of the baler, collects the swath laid in banks. The collector feeds the material into the cylindrical baling chamber. Special rollers driven by a pair of chains move around the circumference of the chamber. Rollers motion rolls and compact the material. Desired compression level is indicated by the control panel in the tractor cab. When the programmed compression level is achieved, the bale is wrapped with cord or net.
The baler is coupled to the tractor with the tow bar, the PTO drive shaft and the hydraulic line. The support foot is used, when
machine ia at rest. It must be raised with the integrated crank and remain up during field work. The baler is equipped with traction wheels for towing the machine behind the tractor.
