Introduction of Gabion Terramesh :

Gabion Terramesh is different from conventional gabions in that they have a 4m or 6m long double twist PVC coated and galvanized steel tail integral to the construction of the unit , extending from their bases . This tail allows them to be used as unitary components to form a gabion-faced reinforced soil structure .

The reduction of environmental impact through the use of vegetation incorporated into the front face of the structure the versatility of gabions , which allows the formation of a structure with vertical , battered or stepped front face as required and minimzation of environmental impact .
