Working Principle

There are two kinds of rotary dryer, down-flow ones and back-flow ones. The hot-blast air in high temperature generated by hot-blast stove is introduced to the drying cylinder by the induced draft fan. The material is sent to the hopper by the conveyer and then to the drying cylinder. The slant drying cylinder rotates and the stirring plate grabs and releases the materials. The formed material curtain fully touches with the hot-blast air. The angle of inclination of the rotary drum is adjusted according to the material moisture requirement and its rotating speed is adjusted to adjust the material dwell time and to further meet the requirement of the diried material needed. 

 

Applicable industries

Biomass rotary dryer  is used for drying materials in industries like cement, mine, building materials, chemistry, food and fertilizer, etc. This rotary drying machine comes with thermocouples on the feeding and discharging device to control the temperature.

Biomass rotary dryer is mainly composed of cylinder, under frame, feeding and discharging devices, transmission device, gear cover, etc. (Optional auxiliary equipment includes combustion chamber, feeder and discharging device, and dust collection equipment). Rotary drier manufactured by us adopts new lifting plate, which is of functions like guiding, current-sharing, and material rising. The materials are raised and evenly drop so that they are in full contact with heat for better drying efficiency.
