Angel mannanase targets the hydrolysis of complex polysaccharides of plant tissues into simple molecules like manno-oligosaccharides and mannoses. It is used foremost as additives in feed that contains soya and maize and that is intended for broiler hens and swine.

Effects: eliminate the anti-nutritional factor, and increase the utilization of feedstuff.

*Activity: One activity unit of mannanase is the amount of enzyme, which liberates 1 μmol of reducing sugar from the substrate in one minute at 37°C and pH5.5.
