Rotary furnace consists of furnace body, driving part, burning system, lining bricks, and control part. It is a metallurgical furnace that commonly used for roasting and smelting. For Lead metallurgy, it is widely used for reduction smelting of Lead ore and Lead paste recovered from Lead acid batteries. It can also used for smelting Lead dross. We have export our roatry furnaces to many secondary Lead battery recycling palnts all over the world.

Our company can design the rotary furnace according to customer requirements like capacity, plant installation requirements, off-gas discharge requirements and son on.

To help our customer reach the local environmental standard, normally we will equip our rotary furnace with surface cooler, bag-type dust collector, and scrubber.

Below is our rotary furnace used in Thailand for a battery recycling project. Its effective volume is 5.5m3.

1. Good adaptability. It can be used for the roasting and smelting for many type of materials, its capacity can tolerate 50-100% of changes. Comparing with reverberatory furnace, it has higher production energy rate and lower fuel consumption.

2. Small length-diameter ratio, small temperature difference, quick heat transferring, and uniform smelting temperature in the furnace.

3. High heat efficiency and good seal performance.

4. Furnace can rotate, which make the firebricks has a longer life service.

5. Good operation environment with high mechanization level and low labor intensity.

6. The rotating speed can be adjusted according to process requirements.

7. Fuel can be diesel, natural gas, gas, powdered coal, heavy oil, and so on. The gas after heat exchanger will enter surface cooler and then dust bag collector.  

As the rotary furnace size is big, normally we use FR for sea shipping with  waterproof cloth covered on it.
