Potassium Nitrate (NOP) is a chemical compound with the formula KNO₃.

It is an ionic salt of potassium ions K⁺ and nitrate ions NO₃⁻.

It is mainly applied in compound fertilizer and foliar spray fertilizer for crop and flower,

also used for food additive, rocket propellants and fireworks and gunpowder

  Use:mainly used in glass bulb of kinescope and automobile lights,

glass clarifier, used as compound fertilizer of crops and flowers,

leaf spraying fertilizer. It is material for producing gunpowder

such as firing and firecracker etc. in medicine industry,

it is used in producing rifampicin etc.
